A Senior Lifting Equipment Engineer is required to join one of the UK's leading hire equipment organisations. As a FTSE 100 company, A-Plant can offer excellent training opportunities with great scope for progression, supporting you throughout your career.

Roles and responsibilities

As a Senior Lifting Equipment Engineer primarily based in branch, you should also be competent and capable to carry out on- site inspection, testing, adjustment and maintenance of mechanical and electrical aspects of lifting and handling equipment. You will compile and present reports to the customer, discussing your findings. You will be aware of and be able to discuss all products and services offered by FLG. You will have the ability to carry out fault finding procedures, recognise the defective items, carry out the necessary repairs effectively and restore the equipment to a safe working condition. You will also have the capability, when designated, to organise, progress and carryout major installations, whilst also being responsible for the Day-to-Day running of the workshop.

 

Skills required

  • Experienced of working within in a fast paced environment 
  • Experience of maintaining various lifting products or with a strong mechanical engineering background
  • Have good communication skills and experience of working within a customer site
  • Good time management skills
  • Driving licence
  • Be a strong ambassador for the company 
  • LEEA Qualification would be advantageous
